How MIA Works

Made in Akron is a print-on-demand (POD), order fulfillment and marketing platform serving the small businesses, artists, musicians and non-profits of Akron, Ohio.

We work exclusively with locally based Owners to provide individual product sales and general brand promotion.

By aggregating Owners products in one location (and on one website), we can bundle different products, collateral, swag and related items into a variety of boxes and marketing programs.

Owners pay a monthly $19 fee to participate in Made in Akron, and receive 91% of the retail price of any physical products sold by MIA - including MIA Marketplace or gift boxes. Owners receive bi-weekly payments to your bank account or PayPal. 

Our online Owners Portal makes it easy to manage profiles, upload or change product information and photos, and view sales reports and inventory status. 

Finally, our product pick-up service makes working with Made in Akron as easy as possible. We'll collect your products, check them against the information in your account and get them ready for sale online or included in gift boxes.
